Day 1 ATHENS – arrival
Arrival at Athens and pick-up the car from Athens airport. Overnight in Athens.

Day 2 ATHENS
In the morning, explore on your own the city of Athens: Acropolis, the new museum for Acropolis, the Greek Parliament building, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Adrian’s Arc, Temple of the Olympian Zeus, etc. In the afternoon, we suggest taking a short trip to Cap Sounion and visit the Temple of Poseidon and enjoy a magnificent view of the Saronic Gulf. Overnight in Athens.

Day 3 ATHENS – NAFPLION (150 km)
Early morning drive south from Athens to the Corinth Canal, which connects Aegean Sea with the Ionian Seas (short stop). Drive on and visit the Theatre of Epidaurus, Nemeia Winery and fascinating Mycenae. Arrive at Nafplion to explore Palamidi Fortress and the city’s beautiful old alleyways. Overnight in Nafplion/Tolo area.

Day 4 NAFPLION / TOLO – OLYMPIA (105 km)
Depart for Olympia through the steep hills and wild scenery of the Central Peloponnese and pass by the towns of Tripolis, Megalopolis and Andritsena. Continue to Olympia and visit the archaeological site and museum. Overnight in Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games

Day 5 OLYMPIA – DELPHI (224 km)
Drive through the plains of Eliad and Achaia, through Patras, the capital of the Peloponnese until the magnificent bridge over the “Little Dardanelles”from Rion to Antirion. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) and Itea to arrive in Delphi. Overnight in Delphi.

Day 6 DELPHI – KALAMBAKA (227 km)
Visit Delphi, the ancient home of the Oracle. Situated on the slopes of Mt Parnassus, Delphi is one of the most stunning archaeological sites in the world. Depart for Kalambaka, passing by Livadia, Orchomene, Lamia, Karditsa…Overnight in Kalambaka.

Day 7 KALAMBAKA – ATHENS (349 km)
Visit Meteora, among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks which seem to be suspended in mid-air, stand ageless Monasteries, where you can see exquisite examples of Byzantine Art including priceless historical and religious treasures. Return to Athens via Trikala, Lamia and Thermopylae (stop to see the Leonida’s Monument). Arrive in Athens early in the evening. Overnight in Athens.

Day 8 ATHENS – Airport ATHENS
Delivery of the car at the Airport in Athens and Departure.
